👮‍♀️ A Week on Your Beat!
Hello everyone! 👋 Welcome to this week’s neighbourhood update! Here’s a little look at what’s been happening across our area, what we’ve been working on and how you can get involved.
đź’¬ You Said, We Did You said: Anti-social behaviour in and around the Caldy Valley Nature Reserve We did: Increased foot patrol in and around the Caldy Valley Nature Reserve area.
What’s next: We have had a number of residents inform us, via Resident’s Voice, of areas where inconsiderate parking is an issue. We will be looking into these areas in the coming weeks. Your feedback helps us understand what matters most to our community. If there’s something you’d like us to know about, please complete our Resident’s Voice survey here: Resident's voice | Cheshire Constabulary Thank you to those who have taken the time to fill out a survey so far.
🚶‍♀️ Out and About This week, your neighbourhood policing team has been: focussing patrols around the canal towpath due to increased reports of e-bikes in the area. It’s always lovely to speak to residents while we’re out and about, so please do come and say hello if you see us!
🛡️ A Little Crime Prevention This week’s tip: Shed and garage safety. Many people don’t secure their shed or garage in the same way they do their homes - often using an easy-to-break lock or padlock to protect valuable contents such as a car, bike or lawnmower. An opportunistic burglar will try a shed or garage first because they can find the tools they need to break into the main house. For information on how to keep your shed or garage secure please click the link: Keeping your shed or garage safe and secure | Crime prevention | Cheshire Constabulary
📅 Come and Meet Us! Fancy a chat with your local policing team? Event: Police Surgery Date: 18/11/2026 Time: 11:00- 12:00 Location: Vicars Cross Community Centre, Thackeray Dr, Vicars Cross, Chester CH3 5LP Everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve got a concern, a question or simply fancy saying hello, we’d love to see you.
👋 Until Next Time! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to speak with us, share feedback or help make our neighbourhood a great place to live. We’ll be back with another update next week. In the meantime, take care, look out for one another and don’t forget to give us a wave if you spot us out on patrol!
PC Chris McCue and PCSO Jayne Lockwood
Remember: Cheshire Alert is not a crime-reporting or emergency service. Always use the appropriate official police reporting channels. Call 999 in an emergency, or 101 for non-emergency police matters.
